March 20, 2026 : #Eng-IT-01 Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Project Manager in the field of Transportation Technologies. This role involves managing and coordinating IT projects of varying complexity. The position is based in Middletown, PA, a town known for its rich history and vibrant community. Candidates residing in Pennsylvania are encouraged to apply. Responsibilities Manage and coordinate activities of internal and external staff involved in multiple IT projects. Develop and maintain project plans and other necessary artifacts using established project management standards, procedures, templates, and methodologies. Collaborate with business owners and analysts to define and refine project scope. Perform project management duties throughout the entire project lifecycle, including initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, controlling, and closing. Conduct lessons learned sessions during and after projects to identify areas for improvement. Develop and maintain productive working relationships with technology staff, business owners, project sponsors, vendors, and key clients. Adhere to the PMO Playbook and referenced artifacts. Perform tasks and other duties related to this position as assigned. Desired Qualifications Minimum of five (5) years of experience in project management, covering various project sizes and subject matters, including integration, scope, schedule, cost, communication, vendor, and risk planning. Experience with Long-haul Fiber Networks, Facility/Campus Data Networks, Wireless connectivity, Wi-Fi Networks, and Unified Communication technology. Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification is highly desired. Experience with ServiceNow in Idea, Project, and Demand modules is highly desired. Experience with Enterprise Business Solutions, specifically SAP projects, is highly desired. Engagement Requirements Preferred location for candidates is within Pennsylvania. The work location will be virtual/remote until further notice. Onsite work, when required, will be at specified locations in Middletown, PA. In-person interviews or work sessions with stakeholders will be conducted at the Commission facilities in Middletown, PA. If based within a 3-hour commuting distance of the Middletown offices, no additional compensation for travel is provided. If travel expenses are authorized, they must adhere to federal GSA guidelines and include appropriate documentation. Remote connectivity and necessary equipment will be provided as required. All issued equipment must be returned in good condition upon engagement completion. Vendors are responsible for accurate information and correctly completed forms for onboarding resources, allowing a minimum of five to seven business days for the process. Must comply with Commission IT Department guidelines while working virtually, including using cameras during meetings and maintaining a professional appearance. Resources must be available to come to the work location within 3 hours in case of emergencies. The position observes eleven (11) holidays, during which the office is closed. Overtime requests require prior approval from the Project Principal.
