Job Summary:
The Remote Project Manager plays a vital role in ensuring precise, reliable, and timely measurement data collection across diverse projects. This fully remote position offers the opportunity to work flexibly while contributing to innovative initiatives that drive operational excellence. As a key contributor, you will utilize your technical skills and attention to detail to support measurement processes that inform critical decision-making and project success. This position requires regular afternoon, evening and weekend shifts. There will be a specified training period during normal business hours, depending on experience. Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Works with the Design Consultant at the point of sale to measure and confirm details of the project
  • Provide accurate and timely measurements, materials list, installation notes and ensure compliance with required residential building codes.
  • Collect, record, and verify measurement data accurately from remote locations using specialized tools and software
  • Collaborate with project teams to understand measurement requirements and deliver precise results within established timelines
  • Maintain detailed logs of measurement activities, including any discrepancies encountered during the data collection
  • Communicate effectively with team members across the company to resolve technical challenges
  • Review collected data for consistency, completeness, and accuracy before submitting reports for analysis
  • Review all jobs before install, contact lead installers when applicable to provide an overall scope of the project.
  • Determine the time necessary for each job based on the complexity and skills necessary to complete each job.
  • Effectively set expectations with the homeowner by proactively recognizing situations that could impact customer expectations and job costs. Address any potential issues during initial measure appointment and document discussed potential solutions if these issues should arise.
  • Serve as a liaison between sales and the customer. Provide solutions to ensure successful first-time completion.
  • Some travel may be necessary
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Proven experience and strong understanding of residential building construction
  • Proven experience in Residential window installation or measurement
  • Strong proficiency with measurement tools and data recording software
  • Strong commitment to time management.
  • Excellent attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and quality assurance in data handling
  • Ability to troubleshoot technical issues independently and adapt to evolving measurement technologies
  • Prior experience working remotely or in a distributed team setting is preferred
  • Dependable and punctual with appointments, documentation, and commitments.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with customers, installation crews, internal staff, and company leadership.
  • Excellent team relations, empathetic and personable skills
  • Strong mathematical skills
  • Must be able to organize and prioritize
  • Knowledgeable with tactful and diplomatic approach to tasks on hand
  • Ability to adapt well and accept feedback in a changing environment
  • Ability to work remotely and independently
  • Maintain a pleasant and professional demeanor with all inter departmental associates and customers at all times
