Must lead by example and mentor resources within the Project Solutions and VROW teams. Establish goals with employees and ensure completion of all employee reviews. Determine and assess individuals and skill levels, prepare and implement personnel improvement programs for individuals not meeting expectations. Attend Corporate Management Team meetings and events as required. Approve PTO requests, timesheets, monitor attendance and keep daily logs of incidents as they occur. Monitor quality, production levels and utilization of department and department members. Interview potential employees who make it through initial screening interviews. Discipline and possible dismissal (only with oversight of HR) of employees. Assist in coordinating all assignments for the Project Solutions team. Attend management courses or other certification trainings as required. Assist Project Solutions Director and VP in the development of financial planning and operational processes to meet Company goals. Communicates clearly and directly with employees concerning performance expectations, productivity, and accountability
This position is responsible for the support of all Project Solutions department staff and assisting them in the understanding of all CLS policies and procedures. This position will be accountable for varied levels of personnel based on the current project and department needs. Qualifications (minimum and preferred requirements): Must have 3-5+ years of experience working in a relational database application. Must be local to Sugar Land, TX CLSLiNK experience and basic understanding of mapping applications is a plus. Must have a working understanding of database tables and relationships between them. SQL experience is not required but is a plus. Must have experience with process automation. Previous experience in the Land Services industry is a plus (ROW, Survey, Title, Permitting) Must be okay with a hybrid schedule.
Education and Experience:
High School Diploma Required, College Degree a plus Ability to effectively communicate with clients, project management and field personnel. Ability to meet deadlines, occasionally work overtime on short notice. Must have strong Microsoft Office skills, specifically Excel, Word, Teams and SharePoint. Well-developed communication skills (phone etiquette, grammar and personal interaction). Proficient with common mathematical terms and calculations. Ability to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to identify and assess problems and formulate solutions. Must be comfortable learning and applying new technology.
