$36.00•$40.00/hr Position Summary Our client, a leading US utility, is seeking a Project Specialist 3 to support the scheduling and execution of a large portfolio of Substation Programs projects. The role requires strong project controls expertise and the ability to manage integrated schedules across multiple concurrent projects with varying levels of complexity. Responsibilities Manage a portfolio of 100-150 Substation Programs projects (each under $25M), including those with higher levels of complexity Develop and maintain project schedules, incorporating schedules already in use across project phases Build and manage master integrated schedules, work breakdown structures (WBS), and earned value calculations Document delays and produce time impact analyses to support project reporting Identify issues and solutions; collaborate with project teams to establish objectives, timelines, risk analysis, milestones, and deliverables Apply project controls for schedule management, including forecasting, variance analysis, performance monitoring, and trend identification Drive resolution of schedule issues, escalating to the Project Manager where appropriate Gather data from multiple internal groups and contractors; serve as an effective communicator across stakeholders Travel to job sites on an as-needed basis (typically less than once per month) Education & Experience Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Data Science, Construction Management, Business, Finance, or Project Management — or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience 7+ years of experience in scheduling and capital projects/construction
Knowledge & Skills Required:
Proficiency in Primavera P6 Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint, Visio) and
SAP Desired:
