Job Description

Job Description This role is hybrid onsite 3 days a week in Arden Hills, MN. We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Project Specialist to join our medical device client's acquisition and integration team for a duration of 7 months, with the option to extend. In this role, you will track progress towards important Verification and Validation (V&V) milestones as well as highlighting risks and their impact to the project timeline. You will work with individual team members to identify resource needs and work with V&V coordinator to provide updates and understand each team member's deliverables.
Your responsibilities include:
  • Meeting with the V&V coordinator to understand each team member's deliverables
  • Updating schedules in Microsoft Project and in some instances creating new schedules
  • Identifying risks to meeting the project deadlines and/or objectives
  • Meeting with each team member to track their progress
  • Providing progress updates to the V&V coordinator
  • Build Quality into all aspects of their work by maintaining compliance to all quality requirements.

  • Bachelor's Degree is required
  • 3 years of demonstrated experience in project management; if MS, 2 years of experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication, judgment, decision-making, collaboration, and critical thinking skills
  • Personal drive, individual accountability & a strong bias for action.
  • Microsoft Project experience
  • Experience in mentoring junior engineers
  • Familiarity with IEC 14708 and 45502 Active Implantable standards
  • Experience with statistical techniques (Gauge R&R, Process Capabilities Studies) and Minitab
  • Experience in test method development and test method validation, particularly with active implantable devices
  • Ability to build strong relationships across the organization and with external stakeholders
  • Experience in the medical device field
