Job Description

JOB DESCRIPTION
The Quality Improvement Consultant will actively partner with leaders to improve operations and quality through project management, initiative support, and process improvement. In collaboration with clinical and administrative leaders, will execute improvement projects related to organizational goals and strategies in assigned areas. Consultants will manage all aspects of complex projects, including improvement plans and defining appropriate tools, methodologies and metrics needed to improve efficiencies of healthcare operations, patient safety and clinical processes. Consultants will coach and mentor individuals and teams on improvement methods, system thinking, change management, group dynamics and planning methods. This is a hybrid remote position that will work onsite at Hudson Hospital in Hudson, WI weekly. This is not a fully remote position. Employees must reside in Minnesota, Wisconsin, Iowa, North Dakota, or South Dakota, and have a reliable internet connection and a quiet place to work free from interruptions.
Work Schedule:
40 hrs weekly / 1.0 FTE; Mon-Fri, Business days
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree 3-4 years of relevant experience with 2-3 years project management experience (senior quality improvement: 5-7 years of relevant work experience with 3-5 years of project management experience) Experience with process improvement, Lean, Six Sigma or PDSA, project management, change Management. Proven experience in managing successful projects of both small and medium scale. Experience with online meeting and sharing platforms, such as WebEx, MS Teams, and SharePoint to effectively lead projects remotely when needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
Healthcare experience preferred. Experience with EMR (Epic). Certified in Institute for Healthcare Improvement (IHI) change methodology, Six Sigma, Lean or related quality Improvement methods Change Management Certification PMP certification CPHQ (Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality)
