Riverside Community Care Quality Management Internship

  • Summer 2026 We're seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented Bachelor's level intern with strong writing and analytical skills to join our dynamic Quality Management (QM) team.
This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in health policy, quality improvement, and data-driven decision-making across a leading behavioral healthcare organization. About the Quality Management Department Riverside's Quality Management Department oversees care for more than 40,000 individuals each year. Our team monitors incidents, conducts investigations, manages the Human Rights system, and maintains program policies across a wide range of services. As a Quality Management Intern, you'll work on meaningful projects that directly support Riverside's mission to deliver safe, high-quality care while ensuring regulatory compliance. What You'll Do As part of our collaborative team, you'll engage in projects that drive meaningful quality improvements throughout the organization, including: Reviewing, classifying, and entering data from multiple sources into the Quality Management database system to support accurate reporting and analysis. Data trending for reporting to divisional leadership. Reconciling records to ensure accurate internal reporting to Quality Management. Supporting Riverside Connect Intranet upgrade and document management activities
Internship Details Schedule:
Flexible, 10-20 hours per week (hybrid)

Unpaid; ideal for students seeking course credit
