Job Description

Company Overview Cast-Crete is the nation's largest manufacturer of precast concrete lintels and sills. As the industry pioneer, we help homebuilders and contractors reduce construction time and labor costs. Our vertically integrated operations include R&W Distributors, a "Cast-Crete Company," to provide comprehensive construction materials. We are in an accelerated growth mode, serving the booming Florida housing market, and seeking high-caliber individuals to drive our continued success. Position Purpose The Rebar Project Manager serves as the primary liaison between clients, detailing teams, manufacturing, and logistics. This role holds full ownership of fabricated rebar orders for both Cast-Crete and R&W Distributors, ensuring projects are bid, detailed, manufactured, and delivered on schedule. You act as the "quarterback" of the project, maintaining profitability and high customer satisfaction from pre-bid to final shipment. Key Responsibilities 1. Estimating, Bidding, and Quoting Oversee internal staff or external consultants to generate accurate, competitive, and profitable fabrication estimates in a timely manner. Analyze structural blueprints to generate accurate, competitive, and profitable fabrication estimates. Coordinate with the sales team to ensure bid packages meet client requirements and lead-time commitments. Manage contract reviews to identify scope gaps or risks before finalizing bids. 2. Project Detailing & Drawing Coordination Serve as the central point of contact for detailing and drawing work. Manage the workflow between detailers and clients to ensure timely approval of shop drawings. Facilitate the Request for Information (RFI) process to resolve design conflicts quickly. 3. Operational & Manufacturing Oversight Convert approved bar lists into production orders using aSa. Coordinate with the plant production team to prioritize schedules, ensuring cutting, bending, and bundling sequences align with project milestones. Maintain communication with manufacturing team to ensure production meets project specific requirements for product specifications and quality. 4. Logistics & Supply Chain Management Plan and communicate delivery schedules with job site supervisors, coordinating with in-house logistics or third-party partners. Provide forecasts and maintain communication with purchasing team to ensure adequate inventory to support project milestones. Maintain real-time tracking of orders from the production floor to the job site. 5. Customer Relations & Financial Stewardship Serve as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders regarding status updates, schedule changes, and problem-solving. Manage change order requests—documenting scope deviations, quantifying cost impacts, and securing client approvals.
Key Qualifications Experience:
5+ years in rebar fabrication, construction materials supply, or civil engineering project management.
Technical Skills:
o Ability to read and interpret complex structural engineering drawings and blueprints. o Proficiency in aSa is highly preferred.

Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; capable of managing both internal teams and third-party consultants. o
Organization:
Ability to handle multiple large-scale projects simultaneously.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or equivalent field experience preferred. •This role requires remote flexibility but should be close to the Tampa, FL area.•
