Senior Project Manager

Position OverviewWe are seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead large-scale, complex mission critical and data center projects from planning through commissioning. This remote role is responsible for driving schedule, budget and technical delivery while ensuring adherence to Tier standards, uptime requirements and client expectations. The ideal candidate combines hands-on project management experience with design knowledge (AIA/NCARB familiar) and a track record delivering high-performing, resilient data center facilities.

Key ResponsibilitiesLead and manage end-to-end delivery of multiple concurrent mission critical and data center projects, ensuring schedule, budget and quality targets are met.

Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, budgets, and forecasting; identify variances and drive corrective actions.

Coordinate multidisciplinary teams including architects, engineers, contractors, commissioning agents and vendors to achieve project objectives.

Serve as primary client and stakeholder point of contact; provide regular status updates, manage expectations, and resolve issues promptly.

Oversee construction administration and field operations, including site visits, progress reporting, RFI/submittal reviews and change management.

Ensure compliance with Tier standards, industry best practices, codes and regulatory requirements; drive risk management and maintain focus on uptime and redundancy strategies.

Lead commissioning and handover activities to validate systems performance and support successful client acceptance and operational readiness.

Mentor and develop project managers and team members; foster a culture of safety, quality and continuous improvement.

QualificationsBachelors degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management or related field; advanced degree a plus.10+ years of progressive project management experience with a strong focus on mission critical and data center projects; proven experience delivering large-scale, complex projects.

Professional certifications preferred:
PMP, AIA
membership and/or NCARB registration or demonstrated familiarity with architectural design and documentation.

Deep technical knowledge of data center MEP systems, redundancy/topology (N, N+1, 2N), UPS, power distribution, cooling strategies, and fire/life safety systems.

Demonstrated experience with commissioning processes, acceptance testing and operational turnover of mission critical facilities.

Strong financial acumen with experience managing multi-million-dollar budgets, contracts and procurement.

Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills; experience leading distributed/remote teams.

Ability to travel to project sites as required and work flexible hours to support client needs and global project schedules.
