The Opportunity Redwood Architects is a developing commercial architecture firm building real relationships and real places across Texas and beyond. We partner with developers, investors, business owners, and public officials to turn ambitious ideas into finished buildings and spaces, and we're looking for a Senior Project Manager ready to help lead that charge. This isn't just a project management role. It's a leadership seat at a firm focused on organic and earned growth, with a clear path to help shape a collaborative environment and how we deliver projects for years to come. Why This Role Is Different You'll run point on multiple commercial, industrial, and public projects from first sketch to ribbon-cutting, acting as the trusted advisor clients call first. You'll help mentor the firm's PMs and designers and play a direct hand in developing Redwood's developing processes and firm standards. Roles and Responsibilities Lead multiple commercial, industrial, and public projects through all phases of design and construction Serve as a primary client contact and trusted advisor Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and staffing plans Direct internal project teams and consultant coordination efforts Conduct quality control reviews of project documents Oversee permitting and overall jurisdictional coordination Lead project meetings and client presentations Manage construction administration activities Identify project risks and proactively develop solutions Mentorship of project managers, designers, and technical staff Assist firm leadership in improving project delivery standards and procedures Your Qualifications Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture 12+ years of professional architectural experience 5+ years of project management experience Proficiency in REVIT, AutoCAD, and additional design/office software Demonstrated experience leading commercial, industrial, and/or public projects from inception through construction Strong understanding of architectural design, building systems, codes, permitting, client engagement, and consultant coordination Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong leadership and team development abilities What Success Looks Like Successfully manages projects with minimal principal oversight Builds strong client relationships that generate repeat business Improves project profitability and delivery consistency Develops and mentors junior project managers and designers Becomes a trusted operational leader within the firm Benefits & Growth Competitive Base Salary, with performance-based bonus potential Paid Time Off & Company Holidays Health, Vision, and Dental Coverage IRA Plan with firm percentage contribution Optional Hybrid Schedule (1 day) Professional Development Support (certification/organization/licensure) Community Engagement Opportunities
