Job Description

Senior Project Manager - Data CentersPosition OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead large-scale data center and semiconductor facility projects from planning through commissioning. The role requires hands-on leadership of mission-critical construction and industrial programs hyperscale and semiconductor ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery while maintaining the highest standards for safety, quality, and operational readiness. This position includes frequent travel to project sites and close collaboration with cross-functional teams, contractors, and stakeholders.

Key ResponsibilitiesLead end-to-end project management for data center and semiconductor construction programs, including planning, design coordination, procurement, construction, testing, and commissioning.

Manage multiple, simultaneous projects hyperscale and industrial facilities ensuring schedule, budget, scope, and quality targets are met.

Develop and maintain project plans, risk registers, schedules, cost forecasts, and progress reports for senior leadership and stakeholders.

Coordinate and oversee contractors, subcontractors, and vendors; enforce contract compliance, performance metrics, and safety requirements for mission-critical environments.

Drive cross-functional communication across engineering, operations, facilities, procurement, and site teams to align technical requirements and delivery milestones.

Implement construction management best practices, quality assurance/quality control processes, and commissioning protocols for mission-critical systems (power, cooling, fire suppression, controls).Evaluate and mitigate project risks, including constructability, supply chain, regulatory, and technical risks specific to semiconductor and industrial environments.

Lead site visits and inspections; conduct progress meetings, readiness reviews, and post-project closeout assessments.

Manage change control processes and negotiate scope, schedule, and cost impacts with stakeholders and contractors.

Mentor and develop junior project managers and project engineers; promote continuous improvement and lessons-learned capture across projects.

QualificationsBachelors degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related technical field; advanced degree or PMP/PMI certification preferred.

Minimum 8-12 years of progressive project management experience in data center, semiconductor, or other mission-critical construction and industrial environments.

Proven track record managing hyperscale and semiconductor projects, including large power and mechanical system integration, commissioning, and startup.

Strong knowledge of construction practices, MEP systems, critical infrastructure (UPS, generators, chillers), and mission-critical facility standards.

Demonstrated experience with project controls, scheduling tools (Primavera, MS Project), cost management, and contract administration.

Ability and willingness to travel frequently to domestic and international project sites; adaptable to long site visits during critical phases.

Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, negotiation, and communication skills; ability to drive decisions in complex, cross-functional environments.

Experience with safety programs, quality management, and regulatory compliance in industrial and semiconductor settings.

Comfort working in fast-paced, high-stakes environments with a focus on delivery, risk mitigation, and operational readiness.
