Job Description:
We are looking for a Sr. Project Manager for our client with offices in Windsor, CT. This is a contract opportunity which is a hybrid role (minimum 4 days onsite). NO 3rd
PARTIES, NO SPONSORSHIP, NO EXCEPTIONS.
Candidates MUST be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship. The Senior Project Manager owns project execution so projects progress on schedule, resources stay aligned, risks are surfaced early and deliverables do not drift. This role reports directly to the President and plays a critical part in aligning cross-functional teams and ensuring project work is organized, visible and executed efficiently.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Lead full project lifecycle from planning through execution and completion Lead all stakeholders to develop and manage project charters, project plans, and establish agreed to timelines, task ownership, and target delivery dates Partner with the President to prioritize and execute strategic initiatives Coordinate cross-functional teams including product management, engineering, production, supply chain, and customer support Ensure Engineering and Product teams are aligned with project timelines, deliverables, and business priorities Monitor progress of tasks, identifying delays and driving corrective actions Coordinate with Engineering to define and track design milestones, testing, and release schedules Facilitate communication between Engineering, PDM, and other departments Track and report status of project deliverables and provide updates to the President and Executive Team Identify risks or delays and work with all stakeholders to define and implement mitigation strategies
Education/Experience Required:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Operations, or related field 7+ years of project management experience, preferably in electronics manufacturing, operations or IOT devices Proven experience managing projects with cross-functional dependencies An active and in good standing PMP certification is required Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Asana, Jira)
