Full-Time | ROCHA Design Studio | Pacific Palisades / Los Angeles Join a Design Studio Defining the Future of Luxury Living ROCHA Design Studio is an award-winning interior architecture and design studio specializing in extraordinary private residences throughout California and beyond. Our work is rooted in timeless design, exceptional craftsmanship, and an uncompromising attention to detail. We are seeking an experienced Studio Manager - Operations to become the operational backbone of our growing studio. This is a leadership role for someone who loves creating structure, improving systems, managing people, and ensuring every project and client experience runs seamlessly behind the scenes. Position Overview The Studio Manager oversees the day-to-day operations of the studio, ensuring projects, schedules, finances, and internal processes are executed efficiently. Working closely with the Creative Director, this role transforms vision into execution while supporting both the team and our clients. This is a full-time, in-studio position with significant opportunities for professional growth. Responsibilities Studio Operations Manage the daily operations of the design studio Develop and improve internal systems and workflows Maintain studio organization and operational efficiency Coordinate team schedules and workload Lead weekly team meetings and track deliverables Create and refine Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) Project Management Monitor project timelines, milestones, and deadlines Coordinate with clients, architects, contractors, consultants, and vendors Track project budgets and purchasing schedules Ensure all project documentation remains organized and current Manage procurement timelines and installation logistics Administrative & Financial Prepare proposals, contracts, and invoices Track payments and project profitability Manage vendor accounts and purchase orders Maintain CRM, project management software, and studio databases Coordinate onboarding for new clients and team members Team Leadership Support and mentor the design team Improve communication and accountability across projects Identify operational inefficiencies and implement solutions Foster a positive, collaborative studio culture Qualifications 5+ years in operations, studio management, project management, or similar leadership role Experience within an interior design, architecture, luxury residential, or creative studio preferred Exceptional organizational and time management skills Strong communication and client relationship abilities Highly detail-oriented with excellent follow-through Ability to prioritize multiple high-end projects simultaneously Financially and operationally minded Calm under pressure and solution-oriented Software Experience Preferred experience with: Google Workspace Microsoft Office QuickBooks Adobe Acrobat Canva Asana or Monday.com Houzz (preferred) What We're Looking For We're not simply hiring an operations manager—we're looking for someone who wants to help build an exceptional design business.
