Summary Our client is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee the successful execution of commercial construction projects from award through closeout. This role is responsible for planning, budgeting, scheduling, and coordinating all phases of assigned projects while ensuring they are completed safely, on time, within budget, and in accordance with contract requirements. The Project Manager serves as the primary liaison between field operations, clients, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders to drive project success and maintain strong working relationships. Responsibilities Manage all phases of construction projects from preconstruction through completion. Review project estimates, contracts, drawings, and specifications to develop execution plans. Establish project schedules, budgets, manpower forecasts, procurement timelines, and project documentation. Coordinate with field leadership to ensure labor, equipment, and materials are available to meet project milestones. Monitor project progress and proactively resolve operational, technical, and scheduling challenges. Manage project budgets by tracking labor, material, equipment, and subcontractor costs to maintain profitability. Review and approve project-related expenditures and purchase orders within established budgets. Prepare, negotiate, and manage change orders, RFIs, submittals, and other contract documentation. Maintain regular communication with clients, general contractors, subcontractors, engineers, and internal teams throughout the project lifecycle. Ensure all work complies with contract requirements, applicable codes, quality standards, and safety regulations. Support and promote a strong safety culture by partnering with field leadership to uphold company and OSHA safety standards. Prepare project reports, monitor key performance indicators, and provide updates to leadership. Oversee project closeout activities, ensuring all documentation is complete and contractual obligations have been fulfilled. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred; equivalent industry experience will also be considered. 5+ years of project management experience in commercial construction, preferably managing electrical or specialty trade projects. Strong understanding of construction contracts, project scheduling, budgeting, and job cost management. Experience managing RFIs, submittals, change orders, and contract administration. Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and coordinate effectively with field personnel, clients, and subcontractors. Strong financial acumen with experience managing project budgets and analyzing cost performance. Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction management software. Working knowledge of OSHA regulations and construction safety best practices. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and delivering exceptional client service. #

SECON Pay:

$120,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
