Job Description
$70.00-$72.41 per hour Columbia, SC Contract
Duration:
- 12 months
Location:
- Onsite (Columbia, SC) - Schedule will turn to hybrid at the managers discretion.
Candidate Location:
- Locals to SC preferred or willing to relocate to SC prior to starting the role at their own expense.
- Scope of the project:
- + The primary objectives of this engagement are: + Deliver project outcomes on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Daily Duties /
Responsibilities:
Project Management Responsibilities:
- + Lead end-to-end project delivery, including scope, schedule, budget, risk, quality, communication, and resource coordination + Develop and maintain project plans, RAID logs, communication plans, status reports, and executive updates + Manage cross-functional teams including internal IT, vendors, SMEs, and agency partners.
Business Analysis Responsibilities:
- + Lead structured requirements elicitation including interviews, workshops, journey mapping, process modeling, and data analysis + Document clear, testable requirements: business, functional, nonfunctional, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
Change Management & Adoption:
- + Develop change management and communication plans. + Coordinate UAT, cutover activities, readiness planning, and post-launch support. + Support adoption using metrics, user feedback, and continuous improvement loops
Documentation Deliverables:
- + Deliverables may include but are not limited to: + Project Charter + Requirements Documents / User Stories + Process Diagrams & Data Flows + Project Schedule & Work Breakdown Structure + RAID Logs & Decision Logs + Status Reports & Dashboards + Communication Plans + Procurement-related documentation (as applicable)
- Required skills:
- + Minimum 7 years project management experience with moderate to high complexity. + Demonstrated experience in business analysis and process redesign. + Minimum 5 years' experience managing IT, regulatory, compliance, or enterprise-level initiatives.
Required Education:
- + Bachelor's degree required
- Preferred Skills (Rank in order of Importance):
- + Simultaneously manage multiple work efforts + Strong schedule management and resource planning skills + Ability to identify, map, and re-engineer business processes. + Integrated Master Schedule skills + PowerBI and/or data dashboard skills
Required Certifications:
- + PMP, PMI-ACP, or comparable certification preferred.
- Additional skills & duties:
- + Ability to work independently with limited supervision and communicate effectively with all levels of the organization. + Ability to work with diverse technical and business teams and maintain confidentiality. + Ability to work at a high-volume and fast pace
