Full-Time Company Overview A rapidly growing provider of electrical infrastructure solutions supporting mission-critical industries including data centers, renewable energy, utilities, industrial infrastructure, and large-scale construction projects. The organization specializes in transformers, power distribution systems, and LV/MV electrical equipment supporting high-demand operational environments where schedule execution and customer responsiveness are critical. Position Summary The Lead Project Manager serves as the primary leader responsible for managing complex transformer, power distribution, and LV/MV electrical equipment projects from post-sale kickoff through final delivery and customer handoff. This role acts as the central point of coordination between customers, engineering teams, vendors, operations, logistics, and executive leadership to ensure projects remain on schedule, within scope, and aligned with customer expectations. The ideal candidate brings strong experience managing high-value projects involving transformers, switchgear, LV/MV electrical equipment, utility infrastructure, renewable energy systems, or mission-critical construction environments. This individual must be capable of proactively identifying risks, driving accountability across teams, managing changing project priorities, and maintaining strong communication with customers throughout the project lifecycle. This position requires a highly organized leader who thrives in fast-paced environments with aggressive timelines, multiple stakeholders, and technically complex electrical infrastructure deliverables. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Customer & Stakeholder Management Serve as the primary customer contact throughout the lifecycle of transformer and LV/MV electrical equipment projects following project award. Lead project update meetings with customers, contractors, utilities, consultants, and internal stakeholders. Maintain consistent communication regarding project milestones, production schedules, transformer testing, logistics, delivery coordination, and issue resolution. Build long-term customer relationships through responsiveness, professionalism, and proactive communication. Coordinate factory acceptance testing (FAT), shipping schedules, commissioning support, and site readiness activities. Project Leadership & Execution Manage multiple large-scale transformer, power systems, and LV/MV electrical equipment projects simultaneously. Coordinate project execution activities across engineering, procurement, operations, logistics, and field support teams. Develop and maintain project schedules, milestone tracking, and execution plans for electrical infrastructure projects. Identify and mitigate project risks related to supply chain constraints, engineering delays, logistics challenges, and customer dependencies. Drive accountability across cross-functional teams to ensure deliverables remain aligned with customer expectations and contractual timelines. Ensure technical documentation, drawings, specifications, and submittals for transformers and LV/MV equipment are accurate and aligned with project requirements. Oversee project execution from purchase order through transformer production, testing, shipment, and final customer acceptance. Commercial & Operational Management Lead change management processes including scope changes, schedule impacts, and commercial adjustments. Monitor project financial performance and support margin protection efforts through proactive issue resolution. Maintain accurate project documentation, reporting, and internal communication throughout the project lifecycle. Support leadership with project forecasting, resource planning, and escalation management. Ensure compliance with customer specifications and applicable industry standards including IEEE, ANSI, NEMA, and utility requirements. Process Improvement & Leadership Mentor junior project management personnel and support development of scalable project management practices. Assist in improving internal workflows, communication structures, and project execution processes related to transformer and electrical infrastructure projects. Support implementation and optimization of project management tools, ERP systems, and reporting platforms. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives focused on schedule performance, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency. Qualifications Education Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, Project Management, or related field preferred. Equivalent experience will also be considered. Experience 7+ years of Project Management experience within electrical infrastructure, transformers, power systems, utilities, renewable energy, switchgear, LV/MV equipment, mission-critical construction, industrial construction, or engineered electrical equipment environments. Experience managing complex, high-value transformer or electrical infrastructure projects with multiple stakeholders and aggressive schedules. Strong background supporting projects related to transformers, power distribution systems, substations, switchgear, LV/MV electrical equipment, data centers, utility infrastructure, or renewable energy systems strongly preferred. Experience working within EPC, utility, mission-critical, industrial construction, or infrastructure-driven project environments preferred. Technical & Professional Skills Strong understanding of project lifecycle management, scheduling, risk mitigation, and customer coordination within electrical infrastructure projects. Familiarity with transformer production schedules, testing processes, and delivery coordination preferred. Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills. Ability to influence and coordinate cross-functional teams in fast-paced environments. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities with a proactive leadership approach. Proficiency with ERP systems, CRM platforms, Microsoft Office Suite, and project management software. Comfortable managing multiple priorities and adapting to evolving project demands.
