Your Mission:

The Project Management Intern supports Project Managers and the Program Management Office (PMO) in coordinating and executing manufacturing-related projects. This role bridges project planning and shop floor execution, helping ensure projects stay organized, on schedule, and aligned with business objectives. The intern will gain hands-on experience in project coordination, data tracking, and process improvement while contributing to initiatives that enhance efficiency, quality, and on-time delivery. Role:

Assist with project planning, scheduling, tracking, and documentation Maintain action item logs, schedules, and milestone updates Track project metrics and help prepare status reports and dashboards (e.g., using SmartSheet, Microsoft Project or OnePager) Coordinate meetings, capture notes, and follow up on action items Support manufacturing initiatives by identifying process improvements and inefficiencies Communicate project updates, risks, and issues to stakeholders All other related duties as assigned

Requirements:

Mission Readiness:

Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Management, Engineering, Supply Chain, Information Systems, or a related field Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) Proficient knowledge in SmartSheet is required Basic understanding of project management principles (scheduling, tracking, risk management) Familiarity with project tools such as Microsoft Project (preferred) Exposure to data analysis, reporting, or dashboard tools is a plus Interest in manufacturing, operations, or process improvement (Lean, Six Sigma, or ISO is a plus) Strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail Effective written and verbal communication skills Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and manage multiple priorities

Physical Requirements:

May be required to stand, walk, sit, reach/pull/push with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop or kneel regularly. May lift or carry 50lbs.
