Description:
The Project Coordinator - Layout & Design provides critical support to the sales and production teams by preparing accurate, press-ready files for print and ensuring artwork meets production specifications and client expectations. This role is responsible for reviewing customer-supplied files, making necessary adjustments for print compatibility, and generating proofs for approval. The ideal candidate has strong computer skills, a solid command of Adobe Creative Suite (particularly Illustrator and Acrobat), and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. A keen eye for detail, print production knowledge, and excellent file organization are essential. Essential Functions and Duties Prepare and finalize artwork for wide-format printing, packaging, and signage applications Review customer-supplied files and correct issues related to color, resolution, bleed, and layout Preflight and package print files for internal production or outsourced vendors Cross-reference artwork with job specs and purchase orders to ensure accuracy Create digital proofs for internal approval and client sign-off Communicate file status, proof approvals, and production concerns with the sales and coordination teams Update the production job board with artwork completion and release timelines Ensure files are set up correctly for various production equipment (e.g., flatbed printers, cutters, routers) Maintain organized file systems and follow version control best practices Perform additional design or production tasks as assignedRequirements:
