Job Description
Arconic is currently in search of a Project Manager to join our Central Services Department based in Alcoa, TN. You have:
(required) Bachelor's degree in a technical field from an accredited college/university. Minimum of 2 years of experience managing capital projects. Employee must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.Exceptional Candidates also have:
(preferred) Minimum of 5 years' experience and working knowledge of manufacturing processes and principles, equipment and components to include, facilities and industrial infrastructure, cranes, electrical power systems, control systems, pneumatics, hydraulics, pumps, etc. Minimum of 3 years' experience in project leadership and engineering, equipment specification, project scope development, estimating and project financial controls. In this role, you will: Assist with managing aspects of the Tennessee Operations capital budget and providing engineering support for various projects across the plant site. Provide technical solutions to recurring design, process and application problems. Assist with accountability for planning and managing the site capital priorities, project portfolio, evaluating risk, and capital spending forecasts. Develop, manage, and implement capital projects. Mentor engineers across departments. Support production areas on an as-needed basis. All other tasks and duties as assigned.Also note:
