Job Description CHAT Project Manager This is a temporary position, contingent on grant funding 9/1/2025
  • 8/31/2028 Summary Responsible to the Project Director for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the ACL-INNU-funded project, Clinics Helping Adults Thrive (CHAT).
The Project Manager will be responsible for managing project timelines, project data, and budgets; coordinating project efforts several colleges and departments; serving as liaison between the project faculty and community practices, funding agency, and other stakeholders: contributing to required project reports; developing promotional and educational materials for the project; assisting with resource development; and performing other related duties as assigned. Primary Functions
  • Manages project timelines and deliverables.
  • Manages project budget, including purchasing and travel.
  • Coordinates between project sites, community stakeholders, and project faculty/staff.
  • Manages all project data and assists with data collection.
  • Develops project educational and recruitment materials. Secondary Functions
  • Assists with completion of reports
  • Performs administrative duties, including scheduling and paperwork
  • Performs other duties as assigned Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Knowledge of rural and community health issues and/or issues affecting older adults.
Knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal skills, particularly when working in academic or health care settings. Strong organizational skills. Ability to plan and facilitate meetings. Ability to coordinate complex, multi-component projects. Ability to collaborate effectively with faculty, staff, students, and community partners. Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities. Ability to solve problems and adapt to changing project needs. Ability to manage budgets, purchasing, and travel arrangements. Required Qualifications Training and/or experience in project management , health-related research , or community-based projects .
