Be the First to Apply Job Description Job Summary (Position 831170 - Project Coordinator) The project coordinator and event manager will directly support the work of the Office of the Dean and the position of Associate Dean for Faculty Affairs. The position encompasses a wide range of responsibilities focused on enhancing faculty experience and success. The position involves strategic event planning, including developing RFPs, analyzing venue proposals, and making data-driven recommendations. A key aspect is creating and executing engaging professional development infographics and documentation for faculty processes such as annual reviews, promotions, and awards. Collaboration with department chairs is essential in articulating complex information and creating user-friendly resources. This multifaceted position demands a blend of analytical thinking, creativity, and interpersonal skills to effectively support and enhance the professional lives of faculty members. In addition, the project manager also supports day-to-day operations for the Vice Dean for Operations. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Knowledge of budget principles and fiscal management Knowledge of project planning Knowledge of academic policies and procedures Knowledge of faculty success initiatives Ability to plan processes for records management and project planning Ability to communicate effectively and work within teams Ability to engage in problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills Ability to work independently Ability to delegate work intelligently and effectively Ability to meet deadlines and work effectively under pressure Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism with all associated duties Ability to work effectively with a diverse student body, faculty, staff, and other constituents Ability to thrive in a dynamically changing position Ability to communicate efficiently and effectively Ability to prioritize and multitask effectively without supervision Ability to attend to detail Required Qualifications Bachelor's Degree; 2 years of demonstrated success in a project planning or coordination role.
