A Brief Overview Manages, coordinates, prepares and helps implement project plans to support strategic operational initiatives. Manages defined projects or phase(s) of projects to identify, recommend, and implement changes to increase efficiency. Models appropriate behavior as exemplified in MLH Mission, Vision and Values. What you will do Manages, coordinates, prepares and helps implement project plans to support strategic operational initiatives. Measures project performance using appropriate tools and techniques to monitor progress, identify and quantify variances, recommend corrective actions, and communicate to stakeholders. Functions as an effective team-builder and facilitator. Builds mutual trust and encourages respect and cooperation among team members to facilitate project completion. Education/Formal Training Requirements Required
- Bachelor's Degree Business Administration/Management Preferred
- Bachelor's Degree Allied Health Preferred
- Bachelor's Degree Engineering Preferred
- Bachelor's Degree Healthcare Administration Preferred
- Bachelor's Degree Nursing Preferred
- Master's Degree Work Experience Requirements Preferred
- No prior work experience Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Sound knowledge of concepts, practices, and procedures related to project management.
Demonstrated ability to conduct benchmarking research and determine applicability to current projects. Strong skills in facilitation, influencing, problem solving, and negotiating with and between individuals and groups. Exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal skills; adept at presenting and communicating business information to key stakeholders. Demonstrated ability to manage by influence in a consultative role. Strong technical ability in basic business software such as Excel, PowerPoint, and Word. Technical skill in database software such as Access is desired. High level of organizational skills to manage projects, timetables and implementations. Supervision Provided by this Position There are no supervisory responsibilities assigned to this position. Physical Demands The physical activities of this position may include climbing, pushing, standing, hearing, walking, reaching, grasping, kneeling, stooping, and repetitive motion. Must have good balance and coordination. The physical requirements of this position are: light work
