Job Description:

Flexicrew Technical Services (FTS) is seeking a Project Lead / Capital Projects Manager to oversee plant capital projects from initiation through closeout. This role is responsible for managing daily project execution, ensuring compliance with project management methodologies, driving engineering safety standards, coordinating vendors, and supporting multi-site customer teams across domestic and international locations.

Essential Duties:

• Manage daily project activities through all project phases, from initiation to final closeout.
• Ensure all project activities align with approved Project Management methodologies and applicable engineering practices.
• Lead and manage capital plant projects, including multiple small CAPEX projects simultaneously.
• Drive design safety initiatives and ensure regulatory compliance throughout project execution.
• Make fact-based, impartial, and ethical decisions to support successful project outcomes.
• Coordinate and maintain all required technical documentation for assigned projects.
• Manage vendor relationships, contracts, schedules, and performance deliverables.
• Collaborate with USA, Europe, and multi-location customer teams to ensure seamless communication and execution.
• Monitor budgets, schedules, risks, and resources to keep projects on track.

Requirements/Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering required.
• Minimum of 9+ years of project management experience in industrial or plant environments.
• Strong experience managing CAPEX projects from concept through completion.
• Knowledge of engineering design safety standards and compliance requirements.
• Experience with vendor contract management and technical documentation control.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong leadership, decision-making, communication, and organizational skills.
• Experience working with customers in the USA, Europe, and cross-functional global teams preferred.
• Proficiency in project scheduling, budgeting, and reporting tools.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods during office and plant visits.
• Ability to travel to project sites, customer locations, or vendor facilities as needed.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs occasionally.
• Must be able to work in industrial plant environments while following safety protocols.
• Ability to use a computer and standard office equipment for extended periods.
