Job Description We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead delivery of Azure cloud, DevOps, and data modernization initiatives from initiation through completion. This is a hands-on, client-facing role requiring someone who can own the full project lifecycle - from kickoff through closeout - while managing cross-functional teams, customer stakeholders, and technical dependencies across complex cloud and data environments. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and equally comfortable presenting to executive sponsors and working through delivery details with architects and engineers. What You'll Be Responsible For Leading end-to-end delivery of Azure cloud, DevOps, analytics, and data modernization projects Building and managing project plans, timelines, milestones, workstreams, and delivery schedules Serving as the primary coordination point between internal delivery teams and customer stakeholders Facilitating kickoff meetings, weekly status calls, design reviews, and steering committee discussions Managing RAID logs, action items, change requests, decisions, and escalation paths Translating technical delivery progress into clear, business-friendly updates for non-technical stakeholders Tracking readiness across infrastructure, security, access, governance, source systems, testing, and production cutover Supporting data migration and transformation activities from on-premises systems to Azure cloud environments Driving project closeout including documentation, knowledge transfer, lessons learned, and handoff to support Required Experience & Skills 4-7 years of project management experience in IT, cloud, data, analytics, or digital transformation Demonstrated experience managing Azure cloud migration, infrastructure, or data modernization initiatives Familiarity with Azure cloud services including Azure Data Factory, Azure DevOps, Power BI, or related Microsoft tools Experience leading cross-functional teams across technical and business workstreams Strong ability to build and manage project plans, RAID logs, status reports, and stakeholder communications Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong customer-facing presence Ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders in a fast-moving consulting environment Nice-to-Haves Hands-on experience managing Microsoft Fabric or Azure-based data modernization projects Proficiency with Azure DevOps for sprint coordination, backlog management, and release planning Experience in consulting, professional services, or managed services environments Familiarity with Agile, hybrid Agile, or Waterfall delivery models PMP, PRINCE2, Scrum Master, or Agile certification Education Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field preferred Equivalent practical experience will be considered Pay & Benefits Summary $70-$80/hr W2 Hybrid work arrangement - McKinney, TX based Collaborative team environment with exposure to cutting-edge Microsoft cloud and AI technologies Ready to lead high-impact cloud and data modernization projects for enterprise clients?
