This role offers an exciting opportunity to oversee a portfolio of concurrent roofing projects across multiple regions, ensuring timely delivery, quality standards, and safety compliance. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional project management skills, construction expertise, and the ability to coordinate subcontractor crews and internal teams effectively across various locations. Join us to drive impactful projects that shape skylines and improve communities while advancing your career in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment. Duties
  • Lead and manage 10-30 active roofing construction projects simultaneously across multiple states, ensuring adherence to project scope, schedule, and budget.
  • Develop detailed project plans using construction management and project tracking software to facilitate accurate scheduling, resource allocation, and field coordination.
  • Coordinate with clients, property managers, subcontractor crews, suppliers, and internal operations teams to ensure seamless communication and project execution.
  • Review contracts, scopes of work, blueprints, and technical drawings to verify project requirements and specifications.
  • Monitor construction site activities for safety compliance, quality control, and progress tracking; conduct site inspections as needed across multi-state assignments.
  • Utilize project scheduling tools to create realistic timelines; adjust plans proactively to mitigate delays or issues.
  • Oversee project financials including budgets, gross margin, change orders, and cost-to-complete tracking to ensure projects deliver on financial targets.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of project progress, change orders, RFIs (Requests for Information), client communication, and other critical records.
  • Identify and resolve field issues independently — this role requires solutions, not escalations.
  • Foster a collaborative team environment by providing leadership in project coordination, time management, and problem-solving across distributed teams.
  • Ensure all projects meet regulatory requirements and adhere to safety protocols; communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels. Qualifications
  • Proven experience managing roofing or commercial construction projects across multiple states with a strong understanding of multi-site, high-volume operations.
  • Demonstrated management of 10 or more concurrent projects simultaneously — this is a firm requirement, not a preference.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in construction or roofing project management.
  • Direct budget ownership: gross profit margin tracking, change order management, cost-to-complete, and variance analysis.
  • Experience coordinating independent subcontractors or 1099 crews across multiple active sites.
  • Proficiency in at least one construction project management or project tracking platform.
  • Strong background in project scheduling, contract management, blueprint and scope review, and field coordination.
  • Familiarity with construction site safety standards and best practices; ability to conduct thorough site inspections.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Effective communication skills for collaborating with clients, subcontractors, internal teams, and operations leadership.
  • Demonstrated ability in project management methodologies including scope development, risk mitigation, and resource planning.
  • Background in commercial roofing, large general contracting, insurance restoration, or high-volume national homebuilding strongly preferred.
  • Insurance restoration experience with Xactimate proficiency is a strong plus.
  • High-volume national homebuilder background (D.R. Horton, Lennar, PulteGroup, NVR, or similar) is highly relevant and actively considered.
  • CAT or storm response project management experience across multiple markets is a significant plus.
  • PMP or CCM certification is a plus.
Civil engineering or construction management degree preferred. Join our team if you're ready to lead impactful roofing projects across diverse locations with energy and precision. We value proactive problem-solvers who thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment dedicated to excellence in construction management at scale.
