Installation Project Manager

Installation Project Manager - Commercial Security Systems We are seeking a highly organized and driven Installation Project Manager to oversee commercial security system installations including access control, video surveillance, intrusion detection, and fire alarm systems. This role is responsible for managing projects from scheduling through completion while coordinating field technicians, ordering equipment, troubleshooting installation challenges, and maintaining clear communication with customers and internal teams. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, can effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously, and has strong knowledge of low-voltage/security system installations. Responsibilities Coordinate and manage daily activities of installation technicians across multiple job sites Schedule labor, track project timelines, and ensure installations remain on schedule Order and manage project equipment, materials, and inventory Communicate with technicians throughout the day to provide support, troubleshooting assistance, and project direction Review project scope, drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate execution Serve as the primary point of contact between customers, field staff, vendors, and internal departments Monitor project progress and proactively resolve issues that could impact timelines or quality Ensure all installations comply with company standards, safety requirements, and applicable codes Maintain accurate project documentation, change orders, and completion records Support commissioning, testing, and final project closeout activities Qualifications Experience in commercial security, low-voltage, or related construction industries Working knowledge of access control, CCTV, intrusion, and fire alarm systems Strong organizational and multitasking skills Ability to troubleshoot technical and installation-related issues Excellent communication and leadership abilities Experience coordinating field technicians and subcontractors preferred Ability to go on site and complete walkthroughs & project completion verification/ check-ins. $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
