Job Description

Position Summary The Mitigation Project Manager is responsible for overseeing all active mitigation projects from start to finish. This role ensures project timelines are met, documentation is complete and compliant, communication with clients and partners is clear and consistent, and that all scheduling and coordination needs are handled efficiently. The Mitigation Project Manager helps maintain a smooth, professional experience for every client while protecting the company's reputation for quality and reliability. Key Responsibilities1. Project Oversight & Timelines Monitor all active mitigation projects daily to ensure they remain on schedule. Be proactive in management of projects and solution oriented. Identify delays or obstacles early and take appropriate corrective actions. Coordinate with technicians, subcontractors, and internal staff to keep workflows aligned. Ensure equipment pickups, monitoring visits, and job completion tasks are completed promptly. 2. Documentation & File Management Maintain complete, accurate, and organized project files in accordance with company standards and carrier requirements. Ensure that the following items are uploaded, completed, and filed correctly: Work authorizations Daily monitoring logs Moisture mapping and initial inspection reports Photos (before, during, and after) Drying logs and psychrometrics Carrier-specific forms (if applicable) Certificate of Satisfaction Verify that the final mitigation package is complete and ready for billing upon job completion. 3. Scheduling & Coordination Schedule all inspections, mitigation work, monitoring visits, and equipment removals. Maintain daily communication with the office team and technicians regarding workload and dispatch needs. Coordinate with plumbers, adjusters, hygienists, and other vendors when applicable. Ensure all scheduling updates are communicated to the team and documented appropriately. Support after-hours emergency response as needed and participate in on-call rotation.. 4. Client Communication Serve as the primary point of contact for clients during the mitigation portion of the job. Provide clear updates regarding timelines, next steps, and expectations. Address questions and concerns promptly, maintaining a calm and professional demeanor. Communicate any changes, approvals, delays, or important updates to clients and carriers as needed. Ensure the client feels supported, informed, and confident throughout the process. 5. Quality Control Review monitoring reports and technician notes daily to ensure accuracy and completeness. Confirm that all equipment is placed according to IICRC standards and company guidelines. Ensure that job sites are left clean, safe, and professional after each visit. Verify that any recommendations for additional work (e.g., mold protocol, repairs, asbestos testing) are communicated appropriately. 6. Internal Collaboration Work closely with the CEO, office staff, and technicians to streamline processes and improve efficiency. Attend internal meetings and contribute updates on project statuses. Support technicians by clarifying scope, relaying instructions, and confirming approvals. Performance Expectations All project files are completed with 100% accuracy before submission to billing. Client communication is consistent, timely, and documented in the project notes. Projects stay within expected timelines unless delays are unavoidable and proactively communicated. Scheduling is organized, up-to-date, and supports efficient dispatching. All final documentation is submitted within 48 hours of job completion . Success Indicators Positive client feedback and minimal escalations. Reduction in missing or incomplete documentation. Improved workflow efficiency for technicians and office staff. Projects closed cleanly and ready for billing with no additional follow-up needed. Strong, professional communication with clients, adjusters, plumbers, and other partners.
Pay:
$25.00 - $28.00 per hour
