The Project Manager position is responsible for delivering the highest level of customer service possible from order entry through delivery and invoicing for selected customers. In this capacity, this role will serve as the primary point of contact for the customers. Through extensive collaboration and communication with the customer and company management, the Project Manager will build sustainable, customer valued relationships in an effort to further develop sales and revenue growth.Responsibilities and Duties:
Promote and adhere to the Core Values and Behavior Code. Serve as key liaison between all company departments and customer. Build and maintain excellent customer relationships with both internal and external clients to help with overall account management. Develop relationships and enhance customer experience through a thorough understanding of their business and needs. Respond to all customer inquiries, issues or concerns and assist to develop appropriate solutions. Generate and distribute customer schedules and job status reports as required. Coordinate with internal resources for the seamless execution of customer orders. Ensure all projects are delivered on time, within scope and budget. Develop detailed project plans to track progress. Communicate project schedule and progression with all levels of management on an on-going basis. Manage customer information in the ERP system. Complete customer satisfaction surveys as required. Coordinate and facilitate shop tours and walk-throughs for customers. Support production planning by reviewing customer purchase orders for accuracy, ensuring the product configuration is accurate matching customer proposals and requests. Consult with supply chain management on supplier quotes and selection. Identify and implement strategies to improve quality of service, productivity and profitability. Plan, prioritize, and implement work tasks to ensure efficiency and productivity. Continually strive to develop personal and professional skills Promote company goals such as Safety, Quality, and Production Perform other duties as assigned.POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Education/Experience:
Bachelors' Degree in Business or related field. 3+ years related experience with a background in business, project management, budgeting and analysis.Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Strong attention to detail and proven organizational and problem-solving skills. Exceptional communication and customer service skills for with both internal and external customers. Thorough understanding of manufacturing processes. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications. Adaptability and flexibility to shift priorities based on the organizations' needs. Self-motivated and able to exercise independent judgment and make sound decisions, take ownership/accountability and operate with minimal supervision. Integrity, professionalism, discretion and ability to maintain confidentiality are essential.Physical Demands/Work Environment:
This full-time position operates in both a professional office and production environment. Use of computer, telephone and other office equipment throughout the day as needed to conduct business. Physical effort consists of frequent handling of light to average weight materials. Work performed requires constant alertness and activity, concentrated mental and visual attention required. Position requires flexibility with schedule, working throughout all company buildings and possible travel on an as needed basis.Safety Equipment and Attire:
