Job Description

Construction Coordinator HGR General Contractors is seeking a dependable, organized, and detail-oriented Construction Coordinator to join our team. This position plays an important role in supporting our project management and accounting processes and helping keep our commercial construction projects organized from start to finish. Construction experience is not required , but prior experience in construction, accounting, administration, or project coordination would be a plus. We are willing to train the right person who is motivated, organized, comfortable with technology, and eager to learn. Responsibilities The Construction Coordinator will assist with a variety of administrative and project-related responsibilities, including: Entering and processing subcontractor and vendor invoices Tracking and assisting with owner billing and subcontractor billing Preparing and organizing CM proposals Assisting with change orders and contract documents Preparing and maintaining subcontractor agreements and other project documentation Using internet-based construction management software to manage project information and documentation Maintaining accurate and organized electronic project files Assisting Project Managers with day-to-day project coordination and administrative needs Communicating professionally with owners, subcontractors, vendors, and internal team members Performing additional administrative and project-related duties as needed Qualifications Basic proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel Strong general computer skills and the ability to learn new software Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines Good written and verbal communication skills Dependable, professional, and willing to learn Ability to work independently while also being part of a team Preferred, but Not Required Previous experience in commercial construction, project coordination, accounting, or administrative support Experience with Sage 300 Construction and Real Estate Experience with construction management or project management software Familiarity with construction billing, contracts, change orders, and project documentation What We're Looking For The ideal candidate is someone who is organized, takes initiative, pays close attention to details, and is willing to learn the construction industry. Experience is a plus, but we are also open to training the right person who has a strong work ethic, good computer skills, and a positive attitude.

$31,200.00 - $37,440.00 per year
