We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Engineering Project Coordinator to support our utility practice. This position requires strong organizational, technology, and communication skills, and is ideal for someone eager to learn and grow. You'll play a key role in organizing documentation, tracking submittals, supporting engineering reviews, and communicating with utility representatives and agency staff. On-the-job training will be provided to equip the coordinator with the specialized knowledge necessary for success.
What you will do:
Collaborate with engineering and utility teams to facilitate the review and submittal of utility permits to various agencies and ensure compliance with program requirements. Maintain organized records of project correspondence, permits, drawings, and related documents including schedules and progress reports. Utilize technology tools to track critical path tasks and ensure timely updates to stakeholders. Coordinate meetings, communications, and workflow among cross-functional teams. Assist in developing and refining program processes to enhance efficiency.
Who you are:
You are accomplished at oral and written communication with exceptional listening and comprehension skills. You have above average computer literacy and technical capabilities. Collaboration is a part of your DNA, and you enjoy working with others to accomplish goals and deliver excellent customer results.
What you bring:
Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in technology tools and software, including project management platforms. Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with stakeholders and teams. A proactive and adaptable mindset, with a willingness to learn and embrace new challenges. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality and accuracy. Familiarity with utility design, public right-of-way processes, or utility permitting preferred but not required. Previous experience in project coordination or administration preferred but not required. High school diploma or equivalent required. The things about us you will appreciate!
