Job Description
- This Opportunity
- WSP is seeking a Project Controls Manager to join their Project Controls team supporting Power & Energy programs, including transmission and substation capital projects. This individual can sit in our WSP locations in either Dallas, TX / Tulsa, OK / Corpus Christi, TX.
- Your Impact
- + Provide oversight of finance, schedule, and document controls across transmission, substation, and related power delivery programs, leading a multidisciplinary team of cost analysts, schedulers, risk managers, and document control specialists.
- Who You Are
Minimum Requirements:
+ Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field preferred; equivalent work experience will also be considered. + 10+ years' experience in project controls, financial controls, finance/accounting, scheduling, or related functions on capital projects, with demonstrated ability to guide teams and coordinate across disciplines. + Project management experience is valued; PMP or equivalent certification is preferred but not required. + Working knowledge of earned value management (EVM), cost forecasting, and schedule management practices, with an interest in continuing to strengthen these capabilities. +PMIS/Scheduling:
Familiarity with PMIS, cost management, or scheduling platforms such as e-Builder, Oracle EBS, Maximo, PowerPlant, Primavera P6, Procore, Autodesk Construction Cloud, Microsoft Project, or similar systems is preferred. + Ability to lead, mentor, or coordinate with project controls professionals across cost, schedule, risk, document controls, reporting, and related disciplines. + Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. + Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build relationships across teams, contractors, and clients, and present clearly to executive stakeholders.Preferred Qualifications:
+ Experience in the Power & Energy industry, including transmission, substation, or other infrastructure programs +Reporting & BI Tools:
Experience with Microsoft Power BI, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint is helpful; exposure to Adobe Design, Publisher, or similar tools is a plus. \#LI-MP1- About WSP
