Job Description

Assistant Project Manager - Commercial Construction Seeking an Assistant Project Manager responsible for delivering quality products and ensuring client satisfaction, this role empowers you to make a positive impact from the start. Our client is an award-winning and highly respected Dallas/Fort Worth area General Contractor. Responsibilities:
As an Assistant Project Manager , your primary responsibilities include: Assist with negotiations, scopes of work, change orders, submittals and RFIs. Help manage construction drawings, specifications and related documents. Take a leadership role in the QA/QC process, material expediting and tracking. Aid in the management of subcontractors and other team members. Build strong client/owner relationships and support business development efforts.
Qualifications:
Four-year degree within the construction, engineering, or business concentrations strongly preferred 1+ experience in commercial/multifamily construction Passion for construction and our industry Must demonstrate a strong ability to: Communicate clearly, concisely, and professionally, with a strong focus on audience appropriate business writing and verbal skills Demonstrate a positive attitude and passion for construction and our industry Gather data, interpret it into meaningful information, and relay that information through clear, concise communication strategies; ability to see how pieces and processes fit into and affect the bigger picture/business model Organize and manage tasks and priorities Adapt and exercise flexibility with the ever-changing world of technology, design, means and methods Collaborate with people of various backgrounds and styles Create and maintain relationships with colleagues, clients, subcontractors, and vendors
