Summary:
The EMS Project Manager will lead the planning, execution, and delivery of Energy Management System (EMS) projects. This role involves coordinating cross-functional teams, managing timelines and budgets, and ensuring successful implementation of EMS solutions that optimize energy performance, reduce costs, and support sustainability goals. Primary Responsibilities Lead end-to-end EMS project lifecycle: initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure. Collaborate with engineering, IT, and operations teams to deploy EMS technologies and solutions. Define project scope, goals, deliverables, and success metrics in alignment with client and organizational objectives. Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets. Identify and mitigate project risks; resolve issues promptly to keep projects on track. Ensure compliance with energy regulations, standards, and best practices. Communicate project status, milestones, and challenges to stakeholders and senior leadership. Manage vendor relationships and oversee third-party contractors as needed. Support post-implementation reviews and continuous improvement efforts.
Required Qualifications:
Education:
Minimum of a 4-year degree (or equivalent experience).
Experience:
3-5 years of project management experience, ideally in energy systems, building automation, or related technical fields. Strong understanding of EMS technologies, energy analytics, and sustainability frameworks. Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills. Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Asana, Smartsheet).
