Assistant Project Manager Job Description We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Assistant Project Manager to join our construction project team. This role involves supporting the Project Management team in managing and estimating construction projects, ensuring the successful completion of engineering projects, and maintaining project schedules. Responsibilities Support Project Manager in planning, estimating, and execution of construction projects Review drawings, prepare bid proposals, and coordinate with subcontractors for pricing and scope Track project progress, maintain schedules, and assist with budgeting and WIP reporting Prepare status reports and communicate updates to internal teams and clients Maintain project documentation, databases, and respond to client inquiries Participate in site visits to monitor progress and help resolve issues Ensure compliance with safety standards and company procedures Collaborate across teams to drive project success and timely completion Essential Skills Strong ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and collaborate across teams Strong organizational, problem-solving, and multitasking abilities Ability to work both independently and within a team environment Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and project management tools Additional Skills & Qualifications BA/Associates degree preferred or equivalent work experience. Ability to read, interpret, and understand construction drawings. Working knowledge of project budgeting and pricing of materials and labor. 2+ years of experience in the construction field, with experience in leading projects up to $2.5M in scope. 1-4 years of experience in APM or Project Engineering, Project Management, Construction Management, RFI, Change Order, Estimation, Project Engineering. Experience in Mechanical Construction, MEP, Mission Critical, Data Center, Commercial. Work Environment This position requires working onsite in Haskell, Texas. The role involves working in a typical office environment with occasional field travel. A per diem of $3,400 per month is provided for onsite work. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Haskell, TX. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $36.00 - $47.00/hr.
