Anticipated Full Performance:
January 1, 2027 Position Summary We are seeking an experienced Assistant Janitorial/Custodial Services Project Manager to serve as the contract's Alternate Project Manager (APM) for a large janitorial and custodial services contract. The APM will assist with daily management of the janitorial/custodial workforce and must be capable of assuming the Project Manager's responsibilities and authority whenever the PM is unavailable. This position is contingent upon contract award . Essential Duties and Responsibilities Assist with management of daily janitorial/custodial operations. Coordinate personnel schedules, work assignments, staffing, and workflow. Supervise and support janitorial/custodial personnel. Monitor completion of scheduled cleaning services. Assist with employee onboarding, training, attendance, and performance. Address staffing shortages and operational issues. Assist in maintaining adequate staffing for contract requirements. Support communication with Government representatives. Maintain operational records, reports, and schedules. Assist with implementation of corrective actions. Assume Project Manager duties and authority during PM absences. Help ensure continuous management coverage and uninterrupted service delivery. Minimum Qualifications Minimum two (2) years of documented service contract management experience in janitorial/custodial services. Demonstrated experience managing janitorial/custodial teams and scheduling workflow. Experience supervising janitorial, custodial, housekeeping, commercial cleaning, or institutional cleaning operations that demonstrates qualifying custodial service management. Strong leadership, communication, scheduling, and organizational skills. Ability to understand, speak, read, and write English. Ability to work on-site at Fort Hood during required duty hours.
Preferred Experience:
Federal Government, DoD, military installation, healthcare, institutional, or other large-scale janitorial/custodial operations. Candidates selected for proposal submission will be required to provide a current resume clearly documenting qualifying experience and may be required to execute a Letter of Commitment.
Pay:
$55,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year Application Question(s): Do you have at least two (2) years of documented experience serving as an Alternate/Assistant Project Manager, Project Manager, or equivalent on a janitorial/custodial services contract, including managing supervisors and staff, workforce scheduling, daily operations, contract performance, client/customer communication, issue resolution, and supporting or assuming overall contract management responsibilities when required?
