About Us REMS AV is an audio-visual integration company specializing in tightly integrated technology solutions for education, local government, and commercial environments throughout West Texas. Our focus is delivering reliable, repeatable, and well-tested systems that are simple for end users to operate and maintain. We take pride in attention to detail, organized installations, strong communication, and delivering solutions that meet both current and future customer needs. Position Overview The Audio-Visual Project Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the successful execution of audio-visual integration projects from kickoff through completion. This role coordinates field operations, engineering, logistics, vendors, and customers to ensure projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and according to company quality standards. This position requires strong organizational skills, leadership, communication, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in fast-paced construction and technology environments. Key Responsibilities Manage project execution to ensure adherence to project scope, budget, schedule, and quality standards Coordinate with Engineers, Field Leads, Purchasing, and Logistics personnel to ensure projects are properly staffed and equipped Monitor project milestones, deliverables, and installation progress throughout all phases of construction Review project documentation including drawings, line diagrams, change orders, submittals, and installation requirements Identify and resolve project-related issues through direct communication with customers, contractors, field personnel, and vendors Maintain clear and consistent communication between office staff, field teams, customers, and subcontractors Schedule and facilitate project meetings, site walks, and coordination meetings as needed Assist in developing and updating project schedules, implementation plans, and resource requirements Review and manage project risks, identifying potential delays, supply chain concerns, or installation conflicts before they impact project completion Ensure field teams have accurate and updated project information, including changes to scope, substitutions, and change orders Coordinate ordering priorities, material staging, and delivery logistics to support field operations Monitor installation quality to ensure projects meet REMS AV standards for workmanship, cable management, functionality, and overall presentation Prepare and maintain project status updates, reports, and documentation for internal tracking and customer communication Assist in evaluating staffing needs and coordinating supplemental labor or subcontractors when necessary Support continuous improvement efforts related to workflow, project tracking, inventory coordination, and operational efficiency Help maintain strong customer relationships by proactively addressing concerns and ensuring project expectations are met Qualifications Project Management Professional Certification or other relevant Project Management credentials preferred. At least 2 consecutive years of Project Management experience. Have worked for the same company for at least 2 years within the past 5 years. Experience managing technology integration, construction, low-voltage, structured cabling, or audio-visual projects preferred Strong understanding of commercial AV systems, structured cabling, networking, and installation practices preferred Ability to read and interpret drawings, line diagrams, and construction documentation Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills Experience coordinating multiple projects and priorities simultaneously Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products required Experience with project management platforms such as D-Tools, Monday.com, or similar systems preferred Ability to work effectively with field personnel, contractors, engineers, and customers Ability to adapt in fast-paced construction and operational environments Must possess a valid driver's license and acceptable driving record Must consent to a criminal background check Preferred Traits Strong attention to detail Professional communication skills Ability to lead by example and support team development Proactive and solutions-oriented mindset Commitment to producing high-quality work Ability to anticipate project needs and operational challenges before they arise Work Environment Office will be based in the Lubbock Warehouse, with some travel to project sites as needed. Some travel throughout West Texas may be required Occasional lifting, climbing, and jobsite walking may be necessary depending on project needs
Pay:
$80,000.00 - $110,000.00 per yearBenefits:
