Our work includes commercial offices, healthcare, education, hospitality, retail, and institutional projects. We are looking for a motivated Project Manager who can lead projects from preconstruction through closeout while building strong relationships with clients, field teams, and subcontractors. Position Summary The Project Manager will oversee multiple commercial drywall and metal framing projects, managing budgets, schedules, submittals, procurement, change orders, and communication with general contractors and field operations. This role requires strong organizational skills, construction knowledge, and the ability to keep projects moving efficiently. Responsibilities
- Manage commercial drywall and metal framing projects from startup to completion
- Review contracts, plans, specifications, and project scope
- Prepare and track project schedules and milestones
- Coordinate material procurement and delivery schedules
- Manage RFIs, submittals, ASIs, and change orders
- Work closely with superintendents and field personnel to ensure production goals are met
- Monitor project budgets, labor costs, and profitability
- Attend project meetings with owners, general contractors, architects, and vendors
- Assist with estimating handoff and project buyout
- Ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget
- Maintain strong client relationships and pursue repeat business opportunities
- Coordinate project closeout documentation including punch lists, warranties, and final billing Qualifications
- Experience in commercial drywall and metal framing project management preferred
- Knowledge of metal stud framing systems
- Knowledge of drywall assemblies and finishes
- Knowledge of acoustical ceilings
- Blueprint and specification reading
- Understanding of commercial construction sequencing
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Bluebeam, and construction management software
- Ability to read construction drawings and understand specifications
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Preferred Experience
- 5+ years of commercial construction project management experience
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or related field preferred
- Experience working for a drywall/framing subcontractor
- Experience with healthcare, education, or large commercial projects Compensation & Benefits
