JOB DESCRIPTION

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead and coordinate projects in electrical, transportation, telecommunications, traffic signals, and roadway lighting from start to finish. This role focuses on project management, contract compliance, work planning, and stakeholder communication across the organization. Core responsibilities include managing quality, time, and budget, ensuring effective scheduling and resource allocation, and maintaining communication with field leadership, customers, and subcontractors. The position also involves cost reduction, project readiness, risk assessment, contract negotiations, and supplier management. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership, extensive industry knowledge, and experience overseeing complex construction projects.

DUTIES:

Estimating, Contract Management, & Project Readiness Oversee all phases of construction projects, from planning to execution. Support estimators with bid reviews for new contracts. Manage contract expectations with internal and external stakeholders. Ensure project readiness through document fulfillment, material coordination, and pre-kickoff planning. Partner with leadership to meet compliance requirements. Oversee contractual obligations, including renewals and fiscal year timing. Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local building codes and safety regulations. Project Execution Develop and maintain budgets, timelines, and reports while proactively managing risks. Assign and coordinate field operations for traffic signal, highway lighting, and transportation systems. Manage material orders and vendor coordination. Oversee invoices, changing orders, and customer payment processing. Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and stakeholders. Maintain project documentation, including payroll, permitting, and regulatory requirements. Collaborate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and consultants for accurate project delivery. Implement and monitor risk management strategies Supervision & Management Supervise and mentor project managers, overseeing their performance and growth. Guide assistant project managers, site engineers, and superintendents. Conduct site inspections and quality control reviews to ensure project standards are upheld.
