Position Summary The Assistant Project Manager supports the planning, coordination, and execution of projects to ensure they are completed on time, within budget, and in accordance with company standards. This role assists with scheduling, tracking project progress, maintaining project documentation, coordinating communication between team members, clients, and vendors, and helping resolve project-related issues. The Assistant Project Manager works closely with Project Managers and other stakeholders to support project objectives while ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures. Essential Duties and Responsibilities 1. Permit procedures. 2. Subcontracts. 3. Subcontractor documents. 4. Purchasing. 5. Budget & expenses monitoring. 6. Review of submittals and shop drawings. 7. RFIs. 8. Submittal and RFI logs. 9. Three Weeks Lookahead monitoring. 10. Daily reports monitoring. . 11. Weather logs. 12. Change order logs. 13. Pre-construction and Pre-installation meeting coordination. 14. Meeting Minutes. 15. Closeouts. Required Qualifications Education
  • Bachelor's Degree in Project Management, Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or related field. Experience
  • 7 years of related experience preferred, 5 years minimum required Skills and Abilities
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Results-focused.
  • Ability to work well under pressure.
Software Knowledge:
  • Microsoft Office.
  • Microsoft Project.
  • Bluebeam.
  • QuickBooks.
  • Optional; SAGE 100, 300 or SAGE Intact. Physical Requirements
  • Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods throughout the workday.
  • Ability to use a computer, keyboard, and other standard office equipment.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in person, by phone, and through electronic communication.
  • Ability to occasionally lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
  • Ability to bend, reach, stoop, and climb stairs as needed.
  • Ability to travel to project sites and attend meetings, when required.
  • Ability to work in both office and field environments, including exposure to varying weather conditions during site visits.
Pay:
$47,000.00 - $52,000.00 per year
