This role serves as the operational hub of the organization, working directly with executive leadership to ensure priorities are executed, projects stay on track, and departments remain aligned. Our company owns and operates businesses in self-storage, multifamily housing, commercial real estate, land development, and other related ventures. Every day presents new challenges, making this an ideal opportunity for someone who thrives in dynamic environments, enjoys solving complex problems, and excels at building systems that improve organizational performance. The ideal candidate is a proactive leader with exceptional organizational skills, strong business acumen, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while holding teams accountable. Industry experience is less important than the ability to learn quickly, think critically, and drive results. Responsibilities Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of company-wide operational initiatives aligned with organizational goals. Partner directly with executive leadership to ensure strategic priorities are implemented effectively across multiple business units. Coordinate communication and collaboration between accounting, operations, construction, property management, and executive leadership. Develop, document, and continuously improve business processes, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and organizational systems. Track company initiatives, monitor project milestones, and ensure deadlines and commitments are met. Lead cross-functional projects focused on operational efficiency, organizational effectiveness, and process improvement. Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs), dashboards, and operational scorecards to support data-driven decision making. Facilitate meetings by preparing agendas, documenting action items, and following up to ensure execution. Identify operational bottlenecks and recommend practical solutions to improve efficiency and accountability. Assist with organizational planning, resource coordination, and implementation of new initiatives as the company continues to grow. Foster a culture of accountability, ownership, continuous improvement, and operational excellence throughout the organization. Support executive leadership with strategic projects, research, analysis, and special initiatives as assigned. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Operations, or a related field preferred. Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in business operations, project management, operations management, or a similar leadership role. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail and follow-through. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work effectively across all levels of an organization. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with experience using data to drive operational decisions. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suite. Experience developing processes, documenting procedures, and improving organizational efficiency. Proven ability to influence and hold others accountable without relying solely on formal authority. Self-motivated, resourceful, and comfortable working with minimal supervision. Experience in commercial real estate, construction, multifamily, self-storage, hospitality, manufacturing, logistics, or multi-site operations is preferred but not required. What Success Looks Like Within your first six months, you will: Help establish greater organizational accountability across departments. Improve visibility into company priorities through effective project tracking and reporting. Create and implement standardized processes that reduce inefficiencies. Ensure meetings consistently produce measurable outcomes and follow-through. Allow executive leadership to spend less time managing day-to-day coordination and more time focusing on strategic growth. Why Join Us? This is not a traditional operations position. You'll work directly with executive leadership and have the opportunity to influence the way an entire organization operates. If you're energized by solving complex business problems, improving systems, and building scalable organizations, we'd love to hear from you.
