$3,200-$4,200 Make an Impact Across Midland The YMCA of Midland is seeking a highly organized, energetic, and mission-driven professional to support the implementation of the Invest America Initiative and key organizational priorities during an exciting season of growth and innovation. This unique position offers an opportunity to help launch a transformative initiative designed to create long-term impact for children and families throughout the Permian Basin while also gaining exposure to executive leadership, community engagement, strategic planning, and nonprofit operations. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who enjoys building relationships, coordinating projects, solving problems, and helping bring big ideas to life. Primary Responsibilities This role will focus on implementation and advancement of the Midland YMCA's Invest America Initiative, including: Assisting with operational coordination and implementation efforts Supporting community outreach, partnership development, and enrollment activities Coordinating family engagement events and sign-up opportunities Assisting with marketing, communications, and community awareness campaigns Supporting data tracking, reporting, and participant engagement efforts Helping build systems and workflows that support long-term initiative success Assisting with outreach efforts throughout Midland and surrounding communities Assisting with scheduling, meeting coordination, and follow-up communication Supporting preparation of presentations, reports, and communication materials Any other needs or projects as assigned by the CEO Qualifications Preferred candidates will demonstrate: Strong organizational and time-management skills Excellent written and verbal communication abilities Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously Strong interpersonal skills and a passion for community impact Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace applications Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with staff, volunteers, and community partners Experience in nonprofit, community engagement, education, communications, marketing, or project coordination is preferred but not required Why Join the YMCA of Midland?
