American Millworks is a growing millwork and cabinetry company specializing in commercial and high-end residential projects. We take pride in delivering high-quality craftsmanship and seamless project execution for our clients.
Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Project Coordinator with a background in construction to support our project management team. This role is critical in ensuring projects stay organized, on schedule, and fully coordinated from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate and manage project submittals, shop drawings, and approvals Assist in developing and maintaining project schedules Support material procurement, tracking, and vendor coordination Communicate with project managers, field teams, vendors, and clients Track project progress and help identify potential delays or issues Maintain organized project documentation and records Assist with project closeout documentation
Qualifications:
2+ years of experience in construction, millwork, or a related field Strong understanding of construction processes and project flow Experience with submittals, scheduling, and material procurement preferred Highly organized with strong attention to detail Excellent communication and problem-solving skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook) and project management software is a plus
