This role is responsible for tracking and organizing all non‑civil materials , including major building sections and the roofing system, and ensuring they are ready for final assembly. The Coordinator reports directly to the Field Project Manager and works closely with the General Contractor and Construction Superintendent . This is a structured development role designed to progress into Assistant Field PM and ultimately Field PM. Primary Responsibilities (Coordinator Phase) Major Section Tracking — Track transport, arrival, staging, and readiness of multiple large pre‑manufactured building sections. Roofing Material Coordination — Track all roofing components, verify shipments, and organize staging for installation. Material Organization & Control — Maintain a complete log of all non‑civil materials, including weights, dimensions, handling requirements, and storage locations. Procore Reporting — Build reports, update logs, track workflows, and maintain accurate documentation within Procore. Vendor & Supplier Coordination — Collect complete shipping details before materials leave the supplier (carrier, contact, load type, securement needs, special instructions). Field Documentation — Daily logs, photos, drawing markups, spec tracking, and documentation for continuous improvement. Safe Site Navigation — Move safely and confidently on an active jobsite; coordinate with GC and Superintendent on access, sequencing, and staging. Schedule‑Based Status Communication — Communicate site readiness, material status, and progress in alignment with the project schedule. Learning to Direct Work — Support the Field PM in directing work without assuming contractual or supervisory risk . Process Tracking & Reporting — Track workflows, identify bottlenecks, and support continuous improvement initiatives. Development PathPhase 1 — Field Project Coordinator Master materials, documentation, logistics, Procore reporting, and safe field operations. Phase 2 — Assistant Field Project Manager Support schedule look‑aheads, trade coordination, prerequisite checks, and small‑scope leadership. Phase 3 — Field Project Manager Assume full field ownership as the current PM transitions to a new role. No dedicated coordinator — this role absorbs all responsibilities. Required Skills & Experience Construction project coordination experience OSHA‑10 or OSHA‑30 (or ability to obtain quickly) Procore experience , including building reports and updating logs Ability to safely navigate an active construction site Ability to communicate site status in alignment with the project schedule Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to read construction drawings (or willingness to learn quickly) Ability to work alongside GC, Superintendent, and trades Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or related field Experience with modular, prefabricated, or off‑site construction Experience supporting PMs, supers, or field leadership Ideal Candidate Ambitious and eager to grow into a PM role Detail‑driven with strong follow‑through Comfortable in fast‑paced, high‑coordination environments Thrives under accountability and structured development Wants a clear, guaranteed path into field leadership
