full-time Position Summary The Associate Project Manager I at SpectrumVoIP is responsible for supporting the delivery of customer onboarding and implementation projects of low complexity and limited scope. This role focuses on executing defined project tasks, coordinating internal activities, and ensuring timelines are met under the guidance of senior team members. The ideal candidate will possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong time management, and work ethic. This position will be located in our Plano, TX office. SpectrumVoIP is one of the largest Texas based Business VoIP phone service companies. - Execute assigned tasks within customer onboarding and implementation projects
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure tasks are completed on time
- Gather required customer and vendor information and maintain accurate project records
- Track project milestones and update systems with status and progress
- Communicate basic updates to stakeholders using established templates and guidance
- Escalate issues, delays, or risks to senior leadership
- Support documentation, process adherence, and PMO standards
- Assist with post-install follow-up activities and project closure tasks Project Scope and Complexity
- Handles low-complexity projects (single-site, standard configurations, minimal customization)
- Projects are short duration and repeatable in nature
- Limited decision-making authority; operates within defined processes Skills and Expectations
- Strong organization and time management skills
- Ability to follow processes and execute consistently
- Basic communication skills with internal teams and customers
- Detail-oriented with ability to manage multiple small tasks
- Developing problem-solving skills; escalates appropriately rather than independently resolving complex issues Experience Requirements
- 0-2 years relevant experience
- Bachelor's or equivalent experience preferred
