Client:
Banking / Financial Services Overview Our client in the financial services industry is seeking a Technology Governance / Demand Management Analyst to support infrastructure demand intake and governance processes. The team is transitioning away from Remedy (Demand Central / BMC Helix ITSM) as it approaches end-of-life and implementing Apptio as the new platform for Technology Business Management (TBM) and demand management. This role will focus on governance, demand intake, and process management for infrastructure-related requests, ensuring requests are properly evaluated, documented, and aligned with capacity and project timelines. The ideal candidate understands ITIL-based processes, infrastructure operations, and governance frameworks, and can effectively work with engineering teams while communicating updates to leadership. Responsibilities Support the transition from Remedy (Demand Central / BMC Helix ITSM) to Apptio for demand management and intake processes. Facilitate demand intake governance for infrastructure requests across engineering and operations teams. Review incoming demand requests and validate requirements such as server capacity, utilization, and infrastructure resource needs. Engage with infrastructure teams to gather technical details and ensure requests are accurate, justified, and aligned with operational needs. Ensure demand requests contain complete intake information and required governance fields before moving through approval workflows. Track requests and governance tasks within Jira to ensure project timelines and deliverables remain on schedule. Maintain ongoing communication with technical teams, project stakeholders, and leadership regarding request status and progress. Provide reporting and updates to leadership using Excel-based tracking and analysis. Support the development and refinement of governance processes and intake frameworks within the new Apptio environment. Required Skills & Experience Experience with IT governance, demand management, or technology intake processes. Strong understanding of ITIL processes, including incident management, change management, and governance frameworks. Experience supporting infrastructure teams or infrastructure-related projects (servers, compute capacity, environments, etc.). Ability to engage technical teams and ask appropriate infrastructure capacity and utilization questions. Experience coordinating project work and tracking deliverables in Jira. Strong communication skills, including presenting updates to leadership and cross-functional teams. Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Excel for tracking and reporting. Experience with process governance or operational process management. Preferred Qualifications Experience with Technology Business Management (TBM) tools such as Apptio. Previous experience working with Remedy / BMC Helix ITSM. Experience within large enterprise or financial services environments.
