San Angelo, TX Job Details Full-time 1 day ago Benefits Paid time off Qualifications Microsoft Outlook Spreadsheets Word embeddings Full Job Description The Project Operations Coordinator will support our Building Automation, Fire Alarm, and Security Operations Managers. This position is responsible for coordinating administrative functions throughout the lifecycle of installation projects, with a primary focus on labor accountability, scheduling support, project tracking, and operational reporting. The Project Operations Coordinator will serve as a central resource for project administration, allowing Operations Managers to focus on employee development, technical support, customer relationships, project execution, and operational leadership.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Labor Management and Accountability Review technician timecards daily for accuracy and completeness. Verify labor hours are charged to the correct project. and coordinate corrections as needed Monitor labor utilization and assist in identifying inefficiencies or excessive labor charges. Scheduling and Resource Coordination Maintain schedules for commercial projects. Coordinate technician assignments with direction from Operations Managers. Assist with workforce planning and manpower allocation. Track employee availability, PTO schedules, training schedules, and project staffing needs. Coordinate with Engineering and Purchasing on equipment procurement and delivery dates. Project Administration Establish project files and maintain project documentation and records Track project milestones, deadlines, permits, inspections, and closeout requirements. Assist with project turnover from sales to operations. Monitor project progress and communicate status updates to Operations Managers. Reporting and Operational Support Prepare project related reports as needed. Assist with job costing and project performance tracking. Support continuous improvement initiatives within the Operations Department. Minimum of three years of administrative, project coordination, construction administration, or operations support experience. Strong organizational and time management skills. Excellent verbal and written communication abilities. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and Outlook. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Preferred Qualifications Experience in construction, building automation, low-voltage systems, security systems, fire alarm systems, or related industries. Experience with project scheduling software and ERP systems. Understanding of labor tracking, job costing, and project management processes. Experience supporting field service or installation operations.
