ABOUT THE ROLE
We are partnering on a confidential search for a Manager or Senior Manager of Special Projects to lead critical financial initiatives across the organization. This role blends hands-on execution with strategic oversight—owning key processes such as forecasting, budgeting, payroll financial review, and P&L performance. Ideal for a finance leader experienced in Vena who thrives in a dynamic, end-to-end operational environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Own P&L analysis, delivering clear insights, variance explanations, and actionable recommendations Lead forecasting efforts, including financial modeling and cross-functional collaboration Manage the annual budgeting process, leveraging Vena for reporting, planning, and analysis Prepare and present financial reporting packages to executive leadership Oversee the financial accuracy of payroll processes and reporting Perform payroll-related reviews and audits tied to financial statements Partner with HR and Accounting to monitor payroll trends against budget and actuals Review and oversee expense approvals, ensuring alignment with company policies Manage cost accounting activities, including analysis of key cost drivers and spend patterns Identify and implement opportunities for cost savings and operational efficiencies Special Projects Lead cross-functional initiatives as the Manager or Senior Manager of Special Projects Drive system enhancements, operational improvements, and deep-dive financial analyses Support ad hoc requests and strategic priorities from executive leadership
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field 5+ years of progressive experience in FP&A or corporate finance Strong hands-on experience with Vena (required) Solid understanding of payroll processes and related financial controls Experience with cost accounting and ownership of P&L reporting Strong analytical, communication, and business partnering capabilities Proven ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion Click here to apply online EB-2069578997
