Project Coordinator - Engineering Position Overview The Project Coordinator will support the full lifecycle of projects by providing comprehensive cost, schedule, estimating, progress measurement, and change‑management support. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross‑functional project teams. The ideal candidate will understand project scope and contract requirements, help establish team priorities, and ensure accurate tracking of project performance metrics. This position also supports process improvements, documentation efforts, and project change‑control administration. Key Responsibilities Assist in developing and maintaining overall project cost, schedule, estimates, and progress‑measurement documentation. Review and understand project scope and contract requirements to ensure alignment across the project team. Lead cost and schedule tracking activities, prepare projections, and support reporting requirements. Establish communication plans, coordinate follow‑ups, and help manage task assignments and timelines. Identify and recommend process improvements to enhance project execution efficiency. Support lessons‑learned activities and maintain related documentation. Administer project change‑control processes. Monitor team performance and resource allocation to ensure efficient use of project personnel. Work with project managers and team members to organize and maintain Microsoft Project files. Utilize Microsoft Project and Teams to calculate Earned Value (EV), maintain budget and spending curves, and update task status based on team inputs.
