General Job Description Position Overview IES Residential is seeking a Project Manager to join our team. The Project Manager is responsible for overseeing all phases of project execution from initiation through completion while ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and in accordance with company standards. This role coordinates with internal departments, customers, vendors, subcontractors, and field personnel to support operational efficiency, customer satisfaction, and successful project outcomes. Primary Responsibilities Manage all aspects of assigned projects from project kickoff through final completion. Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, timelines, and resource plans. Coordinate with operations, estimating, purchasing, accounting, and field teams to ensure project success and operational efficiency. Review project plans, specifications, contracts, and related documentation to ensure project requirements are met. Monitor project progress, productivity, costs, and performance to ensure projects remain on schedule and within budget. Communicate regularly with customers, vendors, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders regarding project status, schedules, and expectations. Manage project documentation, including contracts, change orders, purchase orders, schedules, and reports. Identify and resolve project issues, delays, conflicts, and risks in a timely and professional manner. Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, contractual obligations, and regulatory requirements. Conduct project meetings and provide updates to leadership and project stakeholders. Support billing, invoicing, forecasting, and financial reporting activities related to assigned projects. Foster positive working relationships with customers, subcontractors, vendors, and team members. Contribute to process improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and project performance. Perform additional duties as assigned. Minimum Education None Minimum Years of Experience 2-4 Specific Qualifications Required Skills and Abilities Strong knowledge of project management principles, construction operations, and scheduling processes. Excellent leadership, organizational, and multitasking abilities. Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Ability to interpret construction drawings, specifications, contracts, and project documentation. Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy under tight deadlines. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software. Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across departments and teams. Strong customer service and relationship management skills. Ability to lead teams and drive project completion successfully. Ability to pass pre-employment screenings such as background and motor vehicle record checks. English speaking, reading, and writing preferred, and required where necessary to perform job duties. Spanish speaking preferred. Maintain professionalism and a positive, respectful demeanor with customers, coworkers, and business partners. Education/Experience Minimum of 3-5 years of project management experience preferred. Construction, residential services, or related industry experience preferred. Previous experience managing budgets, schedules, and subcontractors preferred. High school diploma or GED required; bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Business, Engineering, or related field preferred. Relevant industry certifications or licenses preferred, and required where necessary to perform job duties. Physical Requirements Travel as required to support project and operational needs. Ability to work overtime, modified schedules, or occasional weekends as business needs require. Work in a typical office environment, sitting at a desk and performing prolonged computer work, with occasional standing, walking, bending, and reaching. Maintain dependable transportation and consistent, reliable attendance to meet customer service and operational needs. Ability to exercise sound judgment and make independent decisions within established company policies and procedures. Communicate in person, by phone, and electronically, including on a tablet, smartphone, and other office technology. Perform all work on-site and in person; this is not a remote or hybrid position. Lift, carry, push, and pull at least 25 pounds.
