Other Area(s) Job Description CLS is looking for an experienced Project Controls Analyst for remote work in Sugar Land, TX. Provide administrative and technical support services for projects, by working directly with project managers and the project team to create and implement controls that ensure optimal project solutions and maximize the economic value of the project over the life of the project, within budgetary and resource constraints. Essential Functions and Responsibilities Support all internal and external stakeholders while providing effective communication throughout project lifecycle. Provide administrative support to ensure project results meet requirements regarding technical quality, schedule and cost. Act as liaison on behalf of the project manager to ensure various activities with multiple departments are coordinated effectively. Those departments may include accounting, operational services, field operations and information technology. Support execution of scope definition, estimating, scheduling, preparation of bidding, resource planning and project activities. Facilitate timely payment of invoices and track both booked cost and committed cost to ensure project projections are accounted for and accurate. Assist project managers with project plans that include cost estimates, tracking project expenses, providing updated forecasts, quality assurance and project closure to complete projects on-time and on-budget with satisfactory quality. Act as coordinator to ensure the key documentation is properly managed for the projects. Some documents may include change orders, work orders, etc. Work with project manager and other various groups to timely finalize project and closing packets for property accounting and life of the asset records. Coordinator will participate in audits of the project or closing packets. Regular and reliable attendance is required in performance of job. Employee may be required to perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualification Requirements:
Must have 2-4 years' experience as a Project Controls Analyst. Must be willing to work remotely.
Education:
College degree in project management or another business-related field preferred.
Experience:
Experience with all phases of project management including scoping, estimating, scheduling, contracting, budgeting, resource planning, and financial analysis. Experience with project management productivity tools and software. Experience in coordinating teams from various workgroups, managing relationships with internal and external participants and eliciting cooperation from all resources. Experience interacting, advising, negotiating and communicating effectively. Experience identifying, researching, evaluating, prioritizing problems and situations, providing appropriate actions, alternatives and/or recommendations. Experience developing information and making presentations to groups and individuals. Application of math, algebraic formulas and statistical methods. Demonstrated ability to read, write and communicate orally in English. Ability to work under stressful conditions and time constraints that may need to be adjusted to respond to changing circumstances. Ability to communicate and/or exchange information or instructions and conduct oral presentations through written and verbal means. Certification and Licensing Applicable driver's license required for travel to other offices and facilities and to job sites. Physical Requirements Mobility to travel in and around plant and office facilities and around construction sites out of doors. Availability as needed to work on both a scheduled and call-out basis. Ability to travel and work at the assigned job site as needed. Visual Requirements Sufficient to perform job duties.
